Our Ayurvedic Consultations are designed to create a personalized Ayurvedic Health Plan, tailored to your unique constitution (dosha) and any imbalances you may be experiencing. Dr. Alisa Martin-Levine, our Ayurvedic Physician, will carefully assess your individual life force, capacity for transformation, and immunity—considering the balance of the five elements (air, space, fire, water, and earth) within your body. Your current health, age, and environment are all thoughtfully taken into account. Your customized plan will include specific lifestyle and dietary recommendations to help prevent illness, support healing, and maintain lasting wellness. Dr. Alisa may suggest the most beneficial foods, Ayurvedic herbs, yoga postures, breathing practices (pranayama), meditation techniques, and sleep routines for your dosha. These recommendations are designed to gently correct imbalances and restore you to your optimal state of health. In-Person Consultations During an in-person session, Dr. Alisa will perform a traditional Ayurvedic pulse reading to determine your constitution and identify any imbalances. By feeling the subtle vibrations of your pulse, she can gain insight into the state of your mind, body, and chakras, as well as your cellular wisdom and any sub-doshas that may be out of balance. This clarity guides your personalized healing plan, helping to address current concerns, prevent future imbalances, and support your natural constitution (Prakriti). This consultation will also help determine whether you are ready to begin Panchakarma (detoxification therapy), if appropriate for your healing journey. Online Consultations For virtual consultations, Dr. Alisa draws upon the wisdom of Vedic Astrology. Since pulse reading is not possible online, she uses your Vedic Natal Chart to gain deeper insight into your strengths, vulnerabilities, and patterns of imbalance. The chart reveals how the alignment of stars and planets may influence your body and mind, providing another layer of understanding to guide your healing journey.
